ManiacGamer.com was officially one year old four days ago, on January 4th. I am sorry to say that the website has not been updated much from the last update, I have been very busy last year and have not had much time to improve this site. Although, I am glad to say that I have been thinking up many plans for the improvement of this site. The only chalenge now is to put those thoughts to action. This new year will present many opportunities to come!

Today the Home Page has been updated. It has a bigger Chat that lets you communicate with people visiting almost any page of the site. Now it also has a great social system that has a list of all the members, the Top 10 Members (according to how many times they viewed the home page while signed on / visits), and recent member activity. It is easy to sign up; all you have to do is click *sign in* at the top right and log in with a Google, Yahoo, Aim, or even Twitter account; and you are a member!

This is the end of my summer vacation, and I am glad to say that ManiacGamer.com has gone through major updates during the course of the vacation. We have designed a nicer logo, placed chat boxes all over the site so there is more communication among gamers attending this site, added forums for additional communication and connections with other gamers as well as support and suggestions for the site, we are using a new layout, created Maniac Gamer Media, created top games lists, and created a great representing banner on the homepage that can also be used as great advertisement on other sites.

I am also glad to say that I have many more plans for this site and its progress, and we have begun the start of a great community by acquiring very loyal members. I will be posting more news on Maniac Gamer a lot more often as I will continue with updates.

During spring break I was trying to find new ways to renovate the site and make it better and more efficient, such as putting a log in and finding ways to put in games more automatically than manually, this will be more beneficial in the long run and that's the reason why I worked on these things before putting more games. Now it is summer vacation and I will have much more time to add more games, and it will be going fast with the help of my little cousin, Daniele.

I am sorry that I have not been doing much to update the site, I have been a little busy during school and didn't get many chances to improve the site, It is practically the prototype that I started out with. Today is the beginning of my spring break, and ManiacGamer.com will be having many changes and updates this coming week. Lets hope for the best!
